Dân trí Ngày 11/7, ông Lê Thế Vịnh, Giám đốc Bảo tàng tỉnh Phú Yên cho biết, các nhà khảo cổ học của Viện Khảo cổ Việt Nam đã phát hiện nhiều cổ vật quý và dấu ấn công trình kiến trúc Chăm Pa có niên đại rất sớm từ thế kỷ thứ IV tại khu vực Đồng Miễu (khu phố Định Thọ 1, TT. Phú Hòa, huyện Phú Hòa).
Qua quá trình khai quật, bước đầu thu được các hiện vật gồm: Linga có chất liệu bằng gạch nung và Yoni có chất liệu bằng đá. Ngoài ra, các nhà khảo cổ cũng phát hiện dấu ấn của kiến trúc tháp Chăm với nhiều hình ảnh trang trí giật cấp, giật ra vào, giật chéo, giật vuông, xây úp chậu… trên đế tháp.
Điều đặc biệt của kiến trúc tháp tại đây toàn bộ đều được xây dựng bằng chất liệu gạch và còn khá nguyên vẹn. Trong khi đó kiến trúc tháp Chăm ở một số nơi khác còn có thêm chất liệu bằng đá.
Các hiện vật và dấu ấn của công trình kiến trúc Chăm mới được phát hiện tại Đồng Miễu có niên đại khoảng thế kỷ thứ IV. Những phát hiện này và sự tồn tại của Di tích khảo cổ Quốc gia Thành Hồ (cách khu vực Đồng Miễu khoảng 1km và đã được công nhận vào năm 2005) có nhiều ý nghĩa trong nghiên cứu về văn hóa và lịch sử Chăm Pa.
Cũng theo ông Lê Thế Vịnh, kết quả việc nghiên cứu, khảo cổ ở khu vực Đồng Miễu sẽ có báo cáo cụ thể cho UBND tỉnh Phú Yên. Sắp tới Bảo tàng tỉnh Phú Yên sẽ tiếp nhận các hiện vật đã khai quật được. Đồng thời thực hiện việc trưng bày giới thiệu đến các nhà nghiên cứu cũng như người dân, du khách trong và ngoài tỉnh.
